Classic cars are more on the sensitive side of detailing and require a different approach in every way,  taking into consideration  the cars age, weak points, rubber seals / vinyl roofs can sometimes have small leaks,doors have weak hinges, and so forth.

Paint from this era will ''most likely'' have soft ''Single stage paint'' ( see F.A.Q) which removes at a more rapid rate compared to today's paints. Jacking points can also be problematic.
